I am currently working on this large-scale Japanese environment. It will have a waterfall, path upwards through the mountains towards a temple, a traditional Japanese city, changing seasons, and many other features. I have started with the terrain and will go into the block-out stage next.
I used World Creator to design this lanscape.
The terrain has been imported into Unreal Engine as a tiled landscape so that sections can be loaded and unloaded later as needed.
